| We are looking for graphic artists to design coins, lapel pins, and embroidered patches on a production level basis. Please contact me if you are interested. These are the requirements: 1. Be reliable. 2. Complete projects in a timely manner. 3. Able to make art that translates into metal design and require very little work for our die artist to change. 4. Can understand the concept and have the foresight to develop good art from text descriptions. 5. Can develop art of several different styles to prevent art projects from looking repetitive. 6. Willingness to learn the manufacturing methods and options available so they are used properly in the art. 7. Can list colors using the Pantone color matching system. 8. Can keep all projects confidential. 9. Will communicate with us regularly on the status of projects, any delays, and vacations times so we can plan accordingly and keep our clients informed about their project. Look over my websites to see the kind of products we make and need art for: CoinsAndPins.com CompassRoseGeocoin.com Art projects are usually required to be completed within 3 to 4 days. Some projects can take longer depending on the level of detail. Our clients are usually in a hurry to get the project done by the time they contact us to start a project, so we need your cooperation in helping the client meet their deadline. You will be contracted as a remote artist and we always pay on-time when we receive your invoices. Most projects are paid as a flat rate, but some others are paid based on detail and number of changes. This will be discussed further in our initial communications. Art is to be sent to us in .jpg format at 300-400dpi and in RGB format. We ask for layered files in rare cases. Please provide us with your portfolio so we can review your style of art before starting a project. In addition, if you have a design you think would work well as a coin and want it made into a coin, then send us the design and we will see how we can make it work. We can make the coins for your exclusive use; or we have a presale program where we can make some designs into coins, sell them to the public, and you get free coins or payment in return based on the number of coins that sell. If we feel your design will work well for continuous sales, then we can pay you for a license of your art. Further details can be provided when you email us. We have licensed art from artists in deviant art and other forums. About me: I am Aaron Weed, owner of Aaron Charles Promotions LLC. Our website is CoinsAndPins.com. We make high quality custom products such as coins, lapel pins, neck lanyards, and embroidered patches. I started this business in 2001. I first started making solid wood furniture to express my art. Then I moved to photography, back before digital came along. For a few years I used to digitize embroidery and was an expert at it. I was able to take professionally designed production digitized embroidery designs and double their efficiency on the machines; and make it look better too. I then started making custom coins and pins for individuals and organizations. I still make production embroidery and that is my favorite thing to do. |
